Hi my names Daniel. I recently entered into the world of sales and i started as a "Promotor" in a Time Share company.. so Why's this forum Section "Public Relations"?  Aren't public relations the persons that helps the clients?

Excuse me, i'm new to be honest, but i've got some experience now. I'm 20 years old, it's just the names i'm getting used to Foot in mouth

Currently i'm a PR(promotor) into our sales promotion which is great. I recently started but I'm Learning and hoping to improve as i'm very young and want to end as a Closer guy in the sales Department.Wink

P.S. Please if you have any suggestions and good things i could learn off, let me know, that's why i signed up here

Thanks,

Daniel

Hi Daniel,

Thanks for your note. Being a promoter is part of public relations or "PR." But PR includes all of the communications an organization has with its customers, investors, sponsors, and especially media members. For more information on public relations, check out http://www.startupnation.com/steps/77/steps-successful-public-relations.htm, www.prsa.org, and the free information on my site at www.rembrandtwrites.com.

Hopefully, this will give you some good tips and information,

i think not comperison between PR and sales,

if your site PR is increades means its visitor and backlink both are increased but it is not sure that it increase the sales it may be increase and may not.

Public Relationship will influence you sales. For example, there is a newpaper reported that the milk your company produce contains poisonous substance . Will this decrease your sales? Of course yes.  This forum is meant to talk about how to deal with PR emergency and improve PR.
